FlirtAlemi adapts to the tendency that less Turks marry women from Turkey. This tendency shows himself in all of the European countries which are inhabited by large populations of Turks. An example of this is the Netherlands. In this country in 2002 more than 50% of the Turks married a partner from Turkey. In 2007 this number had dropped to 20% (Source: Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek Nederland).

This decline is mainly the consequence of integration and the possibility to search for a partner in the country in which they have settled. In many countries the Turks form a cohesive network. More often in these networks a partner to marry is searched for.  Beside it, the authorities of other European countries  have more rigid demands.
